Spent a good part of the day today going back and forth from Home Depot buying mulch for the new flower garden. I’ll post some photos when the work is completely done. What my wife said would take 6 bags of mulch took 22 bags. Oh well.
Another fairly good run. I’m glad that I’ve been able to get two good workouts in a row!
Just got back from Bakers Square, where I had the 4 alarm burger. Good burger, but being a 1/2 lb burger, it was too much. I should have ordered off of the Senior’s menu

Nice evening for a run. I had to take my daughter out to visit her horse before I got my run in tonight. I sat out in front of the barn reading my Runners World. Talk about relaxation!
My wife was biking to Pine Island tonight, and she passed me on the trail midway to Douglas. She was with a group of about 15 females. I’ve never seen so many women give me a once over at the same time. I had to chuckle.
My wife installed a stone water fountain out in our garden today. Kind of nice to sit and listen to the fountain. (As long as you don’t listen too closely. If you do, it sounds like somebody taking a pee
Enough for now. Its to nice an evening to be sitting behind the computer.

After a couple of days of not feeling too good, I got out and got a fairly good run in today. About 80 degrees. Beautiful afternoon. Folks were on the trail. People were greeting other people. Just a wonderful day. About 3.5 miles in, I hit the zone for a bit. Some fast AC/DC was playing on my MP3, and I just hit it!
Good day today. Now, if I can get a couple more days like this, I’ll be back on track again! God, I love to run!

I’m not as sore as I was yesterday. I did need to get out for a run today, but, my body was telling me to take one more day off. It was 95 degrees today with 90% humidity. We are having the “cooling” thunderstorm as I write this. Tomorrow it will be in the 80’s. I WILL get out there for a good run tomorrow.

Well, today I took a day off. The past couple of days my legs have been super sore. Good indication that my body is telling me that I need to back off. I’ll get out there for at least 10K

I weighed myself this morning. I was 178.2 lbs. My goal weight is 165. My weight has gone up 3 lbs since the marathon. I’ve been letting up on my workouts, and increasing my intake (candy, cookies, ice cream). Time to get back on the regular workouts, and lay off on the goodies. As of this morning, I’m going to start counting points again. For breakfast today, I had some animal crackers (2 points). I’m allotted 26 points per day
