Wow. I work for an employer that has about 50,000 employees. We have our own fitness facility.
I just received an email from somebody over there. They want to use my fitness story on our company newspaper! COOL!
I’ll sit down in the next couple of days and post my story here for all of you to see.

Well, we relocated to a new office building today. We used to be downtown, now we’re out in the ‘burbs. Actually, the new office is only 2.5 miles from home, and is right on a bike trail that goes past my house. Sweet. Therefore, I start biking to work tomorrow. Again, it’s only 2.5 miles, but it’s 2.5 miles I’d other wise be driving. On nice days, I may take the back way home, through the country. I’ll miss being downtown, but I won’t miss having to drive to a parking lot, wait for a shuttle bus to pick me up and bring me downtown!
BTW, Thanks to Kate for reminding me that it’s good to not weigh yourself too much. I have been getting “anal” about it since the marathon. I’ll go back to weighing myself on Saturday mornings, no more, no less. I always appreciate Kate’s input. (A librarian, huh?)

My weight has dropped, albeit, only .2, but, it’s headed in the correct direction!

Spent a good part of the day today going back and forth from Home Depot buying mulch for the new flower garden. I’ll post some photos when the work is completely done. What my wife said would take 6 bags of mulch took 22 bags. Oh well.
Another fairly good run. I’m glad that I’ve been able to get two good workouts in a row!
Just got back from Bakers Square, where I had the 4 alarm burger. Good burger, but being a 1/2 lb burger, it was too much. I should have ordered off of the Senior’s menu ![]()
